UPDATE!! - Plans are set for the Blessing of the Fleet this weekend.

The Alton Marina boaters will be leaving our harbor at 12:30 pm on Saturday to get in line with Harbor Point boaters led by John Bloch. We will travel up river to the Blessing area starting at 1:00 pm.

The theme is “Pirates” and there will be prizes for the best decorated boat.

Hope to see everyone – it is to be a beautiful day!

August 7^th is our Big Anniversary Party/Marina Day Celebration with the Ralph Butler Band playing up top ( starting at 7 p.m.) and Ralph Smith selling BBQ and all the fixings(starting at 5:30p.m.) and we will have Outdoor Cinema with the blow up screen in the parking lot showing the last 3 years of pictures of the folks here at the Marina.  The slide show will begin at around 9pm when Butler takes their break.  It should last about half and hour.

 Parking in our lot for July 2:

Every slip occupant will be allowed one vehicle parking pass for July 2.  Passes are available for pick-up in the Marina office or will be available at the entrance to our parking lot on Friday, July 2 after 11:00 am.  Please be prepared to show a picture ID to receive your pass.  Passes must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle, or the vehicle will be towed.  If someone other than the slipholder will be driving into our lot to park, please provide the office with the name of the driver in order to have their name on our list.   Remember …. Only one vehicle parking space per slip!

Entertainment:

On Friday, July 2, there will be music at the Amphitheater before and after the fireworks – 5pm to Midnight featuring “Back in the Saddle” and “Pepperland” – Riverbend Bounce for the kids – Concessions available – Fireworks are slated to begin at 9:15 pm.

On Saturday, July 3 at 7:00 pm, we will have a cash bar available with free music by Bud Mannino at the Pavilion.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, starting at 8:00 am, we will be serving a light buffet breakfast for purchase in the Deli.

 As a reminder ….

** NO GLASS AT THE POOL

** NO FIREWORKS (including sparklers) ALLOWED ON MARINA PROPERTY

** GAS DOCK WILL CLOSE AT 6:00 PM ON JULY 2

The water is still slightly high, but the weather looks great, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Marina this weekend.

ALTON - As it looks now, the Alton fireworks show should go on Friday, despite Mississippi River waters encroaching near the shoot-off site at the Lincoln-Shields Recreation Area in West Alton, Mo.

　　Just a reminder to come up to the marina light house for some music, dancing and fun. Bud's band, Bambino,　is providing the entertainment.　　　 Featuring vocalists,Cindy and Angela! It is SATURDAY　 ( 7-11 p.m.)

For most of Saturday we had the ship Niagara Price docked in our marina.  They are traveling from New Orleans to Chicago

The pool deck will be closed Monday June 21 and Tuesday June 22, so that the deck can be painted- Sorry for any inconvenience, but we want to keep things beautiful!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. We will be hosting our first Parrot/Pirate Party the 12^th of June. The festivities will begin at 4:00 PM with Captain Tim Woodson of the Pirate Vessel “Gypsy Rose” giving open tours and lessons on “Pirattitude”!

At 6:30 PM, Captain Tim will hoist the Jolly Roger under the Pavilion, and entertain us all under the stars with music of the Islands.

The Rum will be flowing, and a good time MUST be had by all! (Otherwise, Kelsie might make ya’ walk the plank!)

Bring you flip flops and dancing moves(and lawn chairs ,too).

Eye patches are optional, and you must check your cutlass at the door!

Come on down and have a good time!

We are running a special rate for transients on these nights- if anyone you know wants to dock with us for the concert nights, please have them give us a call at the office!  This way everyone can make a night of a free concert and a cheap dock rate and a fun day and night out!! Before or after the concert they can cool off in our pool with a frozen drink or grab a bite.
