Jeremy and Karen have sent out a reminder to everyone abou the “Ice Breaker” Party.
From Jeremy: "We will begin our third season by inviting you to our annual ice-breaker party on March 24, 2010 at Mac’s Time Out Lounge, located at 315 Belle Street in downtown Alton. We will start at 6:30 P.M. We have some updates to discuss and will be serving beverages, food, stories, smiles and margaritas (maybe not exactly in that order). We look forward to seeing all of you there! Please RSVP to let us know that you are coming, so that we can have enough of everything on hand!"
RSVP by calling the office at 618-462-9860 or contact the marina directly through their website at www.altonmarina.com.
In related news, Kelsie will be there modeling the latest in grass and coconut "clothing." This photo was taken at last year's party! |

Dear Brad,
Just a note to say thank you to you and all the slip holders at The Alton Marina. We appreciate everyone’s business and support in our first year of management of the marina.
We are excited about the 2009 boating season. We plan to add more updates to the facility and make it even more boater friendly. All slip holders will be receiving a packet the end of January of 2009 with their contracts, a comment sheet and a calendar( we replaced sending a Christmas Card with a Happy New Year Calendar) marking some exciting event dates.
I would like to close by wishing all our friends at the marina and their families a Merry Christmas and a very blessed New Year and thanks again for making our 2008 .
See all of you soon, Karen and Jeremy and The Alton Marina Staff |

(Read the original letter here)
Dear customer and fellow boater:
At the end of a year that all of us could describe as “unique” at the very least, I have been reviewing the boating season in the context of all the challenges we boaters faced this season.
Despite missing about 8 weeks of boating due to high water, “expanded” fuel prices and the constant economic bad news in the media, we still had some pretty good times out there this year. I believe this is because you and I know that our great hobby (and passion really) is one that is still well worth the investment of both time and money. There’s just nothing in this world quite like going to the boat and disconnecting from the rest of the world for awhile. |

Welcome! This website is catered towards boat owners and occupants of the Alton Marina in Alton, IL. We're a fun bunch of people who like nothing more than boats, water, and a social Alton Marina atmosphere. You can find us most weekends down on the docks enjoying barbecue, cocktails, and the company of our friends. We're wanting to make this site a place where everyone can "meet up" during the week and help plan the next weekend's activities. We have a message board for our members to post photos and information about upcoming parties or events. |
